Instructor Bio

Hello Zumba Friends! My name is Emily Nicosia, I’m a certified Zumba Fitness Instructor and I’ve been teaching since 2011. I love teaching Zumba and spreading my passion for dance & fitness. I’ve been working to start up my own classes in the NRV of Virginia area (Currently teaching in Christiansburg). I hope to add more classes in the future depending on participant interest & demand.

Definitely come check out my class, all levels are welcome, you can always modify any moves and go at a pace that works best for you! As long as you keep moving and are having fun, that’s all that matters!

Class Description

Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness.

Everybody and every body! Each Zumba class is designed to bring people together to sweat it out.

How It Works

We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
